Hadeel bags first gold medal for Qatar in taekowndo
Taekowndo competitions of the first Gulf women's championship began on Friday 7 March 2008 at the hall of Kuwaiti Association Of Judo and Taekowndo. Hadeel won the gold medal after beating the Bahraini Mariam owagy 7-0 and the Kuwaiti Layal Najm 5-3. The Kuwaiti player won the silver medal while the Bahraini player had the bronze medal.

The 6th Arab Forum on the role of the Arab Woman in sustainable development and civilian community organizations, opened on Sunday 2 March 2008. Organized by the Institute of Administrative Development in cooperation with the Arab Administrative Development Organization, and sponsored by H E Dr. Sultan bin Hassan Al-Dhabit Al-Dossari Minister of Labour and Social Affairs, the meeting gathers 125 participants from Qatar and other Arab states and will continue until March 6.
